Youth Challenge can offer training for youth leaders or Sunday School teachers who work with junior teens.
There are two main options:

Local CEF workers will often conduct these in an area where a number of churches may invite those involved in youth ministry along to learn together and to fellowship. Alternatively if your church or church denomination wishes to organise an evening of training, that may be arranged. This training can be tailored to your needs, but previous subjects include:
- Teaching today’s generation
- Gospel centred youth ministry
- Helping teens build gospel shaped filters for media, social media and AI
- Teaching the Bible to teens
- Teaching the gospel in this woke culture
- The role of a youth leader
- Young people and the church
These are individual seminars and some may have overlaps, but the specific requirements can be discussed.

Student Testimonies:
I have recently completed the JYC online course from Child Evangelism Fellowship. The lessons were clear, practical, and encouraging, helping me better understand how to mentor teenagers to walk with God and share the Gospel with others.
The teaching methods were varied and easy to follow. The most beneficial part for me was the hands-on experience, especially working in groups to complete projects. I learned a lot that I believe it will benefit our church’s children’s ministry.
Overall, it was a meaningful and enriching experience. I would highly recommend this course to anyone who has a heart for reaching children with the Gospel.
Kelly (Dublin Chinese Church)
I found the CEF youth leader course to be very helpful, which truly equipped me to teach the youth and children Biblical lessons, engage in conversations, handle group activities, reflect our faith through teaching, and learn about discipleship. The course was very well structured, with handout notes available in both soft and hard copies. Each session was conducted with Biblical references and foundations. The teachers gave clear explanations and demonstrations in each class. We also had opportunities to practice and apply what we learned. Overall, I enjoyed the course and feel so grateful for the opportunities provided, not just what we learned during the course but also for the support and resources provided by the CEF staff. Thank to you all!
Julie (Dublin Chinese Church)
The course was very helpful in enabling me to learn and reflect on how to effectively do ministry among young people, especially the youth, both from a Biblical perspective and in a practical context. In addition, the teachers were gifted and helpful.
Sunny (Wicklow Indian Pentecostal Church)
I enjoyed many things about the course. Some things that I especially loved were the practicals, as it was fun to prepare and to work as a group with different people that you may not know. The way they teach felt really interactive like I was really involved.
