Summer Outreach Training Course

This is a course for young people interested in teaching God's Word to children. You must be a Christian and at least sixteen years old to do the course. The week consists of lectures, practical demonstrations, prayer and study time with free time too – which could include the odd game of volleyball! Subjects taught include What is the Gospel?, Teaching a Bible Lesson, Quiz and Memory Verse. Participants have to do practical demonstrations which include teaching a Bible Lesson and a Memory Verse. But don't panic – experienced teachers are there to help you in whatever way they can.

Junior Outreach Training Course

The Junior Summer Outreach Training Course is for those who are fourteen and fifteen. This course gives a general outlook as to how the young people can be involved in bringing the Gospel to children. It runs for three days and includes subjects such as Witnessing with the Wordless Book and What is a 5-Day Club? They too have practicals to do – teaching a memory verse or quiz and using the Wordless Book with children.

Young people who have attended these courses in the past have found them very beneficial and a great help to them in their Christian walk and in sharing the Gospel with others. Many of them are now involved in reaching the boys and girls in their home areas. Why not think about joining us in 2007?
