Local Work in Northern Ireland
Child Evangelism Fellowship has currently 23 full-time local workers based in Northern Ireland. They seek to evangelise children through schools, Good News Clubs, camp ministry, correspondence courses and through training others to be involved in reaching children with the Gospel. The amount needed to support this work each month is £20,000. All gifts are appreciated as we seek to see this work go forward in reaching this mission field of children on our doorstep.
Work in the Irish Republic
There are 21 workers in the Irish Republic, involved in direct ministry and helping churches minister to children and young people in their neighbourhood. Again regular finance is needed to sustain this work and to help it grow. A small amount given regularly each month, can make a huge difference to our workers on the ground and to the children they are seeking to reach.
Missionaries
CEF of Ireland has missionaries in a number of countries around the world. These include Albania, Lapland, Norway, Romania, Switzerland and Zimbabwe. Last year, CEF presented the Gospel to over 6 million children worldwide. Your gift can help this work go forward and see our missionaries staying on the field which God has called them to.
Office Staff
No-one likes to think we need administrative ‘overheads’ in Christian work, but the reality is that we do need a strong support team for those involved in direct ministry. Materials need to be printed, money transferred, workers trained and government legislation adhered to. Our team at the office in Belfast do all of this with one aim, to see children evangelised in Ireland and beyond. This work is the least attractive perhaps, and attracts least support, but we commit this need to your prayers, in what is a vital supporting ministry at the office.
