What is included?
While much of the time is spent teaching how to evangelise children directly, time is also given to prepare students to train others in child evangelism.
Subjects taught include:
- Biblical basis of child evangelism
- Helping the Local Church reach the children
- Teaching the Gospel to children
- Leading a child to Christ
- Helping a saved child to grow
- Conducting different kinds of children’s ministries; Good News Clubs ®, camps, open air work, Holiday Bible Clubs™
- Teaching a Bible lesson to children
- Child Study
- Special needs of children from Moslem or Roman Catholic backgrounds
- Establishing and administrating a full-time ministry among children
- Training and helping others to reach children
- Victorious Life
- How to teach doctrine to children
- Working with junior teens
- Problems children face in the contemporary world
There are 6 classes of 40 minutes each day Monday to Friday. Time is also set apart for study and homework.
For whom?
- Christians interested in the evangelism of children and their growth in grace.
- Bible School students who wish to supplement their training with an intensive course in child evangelism.
- Missionaries or missionary candidates interested in the evangelism of children and training of teachers for this ministry.
- Those who feel called to a full-time ministry with Child Evangelism Fellowship.
Conditions of Acceptance
- Born again and seeking to live a consecrated Christian life.
- In agreement with the CEF Statement of Faith.
- Good Bible knowledge and some experience in evangelism.
Where?
At Kilchzimmer, the European CEF Centre, 40 km south of Basel in Switzerland; at a height of 900 m, surrounded by beautiful scenery. The same 12-week course is also offered from time to time in other parts of Europe. Ask for further information.
What is the goal?
To prepare you for the work of evangelising and discipling children at home or overseas and to enable you to train and encourage others in this work.
