5 Day Club
How can we reach boys and girls for Jesus Christ who do not attend children's meetings in church or the Good News Clubs? One of the ways in which CEF is effective in reaching them is through the 5-Day Club ministry.
The 5 D.C. programme
The 5 Day Club programme is evangelistic and involves:
- singing choruses
- teaching a memory verse
- conducting a quiz
- teaching a Bible Lesson
One major addition to the programme is the time and space available for fun and games with the children - a great way to get to know them better!
When and where?
5 Day clubs are generally held in the open air from May to August. The club lasts approximately 1 hour at a time that suits you best, and runs for 5 consecutive days. The great thrill of being involved in 5 Day Club ministry is reaching the children where they are. Clubs can be held in various places:
- open spaces and in housing estates
- homes and gardens
- schools
- parks
- beaches
- camping grounds/caravan sites
