A New Tool!

When we began schools outreach initially in Athlone it was very different to today! Film strips, taped commentary, then 16mm film projector and in recent years video material and DVDs. This is a very good way of opening doors and 160 schools were visited regularly with the Gospel reaching over 11,000 children.

This past year we met a young Irishman home from the States to help with a radio outreach in Athlone. On hearing of our schools connection, he gave us some Creation DVDs and asked if we would be willing to place some in the Secondary schools as a resource. He has permission to copy these for schools and to use in outreach. We have placed them in all the Secondary schools which we visit and passed them on to many Christian workers.

While using one recently in a Secondary Convent school, the head of RE was taking copious notes. At the end of the day I spoke with her and the school Catechist about the effect of evolution on our society. They agreed it is so important to show God as Creator and why we are accountable to Him. Pray that God will use this outreach of Creation DVDs to see many have the Great Creator become their Saviour.
